These include food (dried seeds), jewels and semi-precious stones, <em>tsatsas<\/em> <strong><em><a href=\"#notes\">(1)<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and blessed and\/or sacred materials (medicinal substances, earth from holy places, clothes of and pills consecrated by the 15<span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> and 16th Karmapas). In addition to this, there will be mandalas engraved on metal plaques, each one figuring the palace and entourage of a divinity along with the eight traditional offerings (those typically found on altars). A mix of thorns and resinous wood chips with incense will fill in the remaining gaps. These include, in particular, a series of mantras particularly connected to the Buddhas, bodhisattvas, <em>yidams, lotsawas<\/em> (great translators), <em>mahasiddhas<\/em> (great accomplished ones) and <em>mahapanditas<\/em> (great scholars), as well as a second series of mantras connected with various lamas (i.e. <em>karmapa khyenno<\/em>). The five great <em>dharanis<\/em> <strong><em><a href=\"#notes\">(2)<\/a><\/em><\/strong> that we find in every stupa or statue are also represented. And lastly, to correct the mistakes we may have made during the preparation and installation of the contents of the stupa, we will put rolls of Dorje Sempa&#8217;s mantra and the mantra of interdependence (<em>Tendrel Nyingpo<\/em>) a bit all over the place!<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=&#8221;row&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;We will place a copy of the Kangyur &#8221; background_layout=&#8221;light&#8221; text_orientation=&#8221;left&#8221; use_border_color=&#8221;off&#8221; border_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221; module_id=&#8221;kangyur&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We will place a copy of the Kangyur <strong><em><a href=\"#notes\">(3)<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, a symbol of the Buddha&#8217;s enlightened speech, in the vase or <em>bumpa<\/em>. The tree of life, called <em>sokshing<\/em> in Tibetan, stands from the base of the <em>bumpa<\/em> up to the uppermost extremity of the stupa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lastly\u2014the raison d&#8217;\u00eatre of a stupa\u2014the relics are carefully conserved in an urn. The urn will contain those of Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche of course, but it will also house relics from the Karmapas (notably the 16th Karmapa).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All of preparation will take place over several months. The most wonderful part of this adventure is that everyone can participate, whether through offering jewels and semi-precious stones, by making a donation, or by volunteering to take part in the fabrication of mantra rolls! Their form is that of a stupa, either five or fifteen centimeters tall. Each one contains various sacred substances (blessed rice, Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche&#8217;s ashes, and minuscule mantra rolls)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"#rouleaux\">(2)\u00a0\u2191<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 A <em>dharani<\/em> is a long mantra that summarizes the Buddha&#8217;s teaching; the five great <em>dharanis<\/em> come directly from Buddha Shakyamuni.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"#kangyur\">(3)\u00a0\u2191<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0The Kangyur is the compilation of the words of the Buddha, collected by his disciples following his death. Pour cette raison, l'int\u00e9rieur comporte diff\u00e9rents espaces \u00e9vid\u00e9s \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re de niches. C\u2019est en effet le contenu du stoupa, puis sa cons\u00e9cration au cours d\u2019un rituel (<em>rabn\u00e9<\/em> en tib\u00e9tain), qui le rendent efficient et font de lui un support de pratique porteur de la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction des trois joyaux.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c0 Dhagpo, la pr\u00e9paration et l\u2019installation des multiples substances du nouveau stoupa se feront d'apr\u00e8s un texte de Jamg\u00f6n Kongtr\u00fcl Lodr\u00f6 Thay\u00e9 (1813-1899), en suivant les instructions de lama Jampa. Elles seront plac\u00e9es au c\u0153ur de chacun des \u00e9l\u00e9ments du stoupa : la base, le niveau m\u00e9dian (les marches), le vase ou <em>bumpa<\/em> (partie campaniforme) et les treize anneaux sup\u00e9rieurs. Le choix du contenu ne se fait pas selon un d\u00e9sir al\u00e9atoire, mais d\u2019apr\u00e8s une codification tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cise d\u00e9crite dans certains textes bouddhiques.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ainsi, on trouvera dans le stoupa de nombreuses offrandes. Elles prendront la forme de nourriture (graines s\u00e9ch\u00e9es), de bijoux et pierres semi-pr\u00e9cieuses, de <em>tsatsas<\/em> <strong><em>(1)<\/em><\/strong> et de mati\u00e8res b\u00e9nies et\/ou sacr\u00e9es (substances m\u00e9dicinales, terre de lieux saints, pilules consacr\u00e9es et v\u00eatements des XV<sup>e<\/sup> et XVI<sup>e <\/sup>karmapas). \u00c0 cela viendront s\u2019ajouter deux mandalas grav\u00e9s sur des plaques de m\u00e9tal\u00a0; chacune d\u2019elles figurera le palais et l\u2019entourage d\u2019une divinit\u00e9, agr\u00e9ment\u00e9s d\u2019une repr\u00e9sentation des huit offrandes traditionnelles (celles que l\u2019on dispose habituellement sur les autels). Pour combler les interstices, un m\u00e9lange d\u2019\u00e9pines et copeaux d\u2019arbres r\u00e9sineux et d\u2019encens sera utilis\u00e9 : \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque o\u00f9 les stoupas n\u2019\u00e9taient pas herm\u00e9tiques, il avait pour double fonction d\u2019\u00e9loigner les insectes et de constituer une offrande de parfum.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le stoupa abritera \u00e9galement de nombreux rouleaux de mantras, de tailles vari\u00e9es (de 2 \u00e0 30 centim\u00e8tres de haut environ), contenant toutes sortes de mantras et textes. On y d\u00e9nombrera notamment une s\u00e9rie de mantras sp\u00e9cifiquement li\u00e9s aux bouddhas, bodhisattvas, <em>yidams,<\/em> <em>lotsawas<\/em> (grands traducteurs), <em>mahasiddhas<\/em> (grands accomplis) et <em>mahapanditas<\/em> (grands \u00e9rudits), ainsi qu\u2019une autre s\u00e9rie dont les mantras seront cette fois relatifs aux lamas (<em>karmapa kyenno<\/em>, par exemple). Les cinq grandes <em>dharanis<\/em> <strong><em>(2)<\/em><\/strong> que l\u2019on trouve dans tout stoupa ou statue seront \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sentes. Enfin, pour corriger les erreurs qui pourraient avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 commises lors de la pr\u00e9paration et de l\u2019installation du contenu du stoupa, des rouleaux de mantras de Dorj\u00e9 Sempa et de l\u2019interd\u00e9pendance (<em>Tendrel Nyingpo<\/em>) seront plac\u00e9s un peu partout !<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un exemplaire du Kangyur <strong><em>(3)<\/em><\/strong>, symbole de la parole \u00e9veill\u00e9e du Bouddha, sera d\u00e9pos\u00e9 dans le vase ou <em>bumpa<\/em>. L\u2019arbre de vie, appel\u00e9 <em>sokshing<\/em> en tib\u00e9tain, se dressera quant \u00e0 lui depuis la base du <em>bumpa<\/em> jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure du stoupa.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enfin, et c\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment la raison d\u2019\u00eatre du stoupa, les reliques seront pr\u00e9cieusement conserv\u00e9es dans un vase ; il y aura celles de Kunzig Shamar Rinpoch\u00e9, bien s\u00fbr, mais \u00e9galement des reliques provenant de karmapas (notamment du XVI<sup>e <\/sup>karmapa).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Toute cette pr\u00e9paration s\u2019\u00e9talera sur plusieurs mois. Le plus r\u00e9jouissant de toute cette aventure, c\u2019est que tout le monde peut y participer, que ce soit en offrant des bijoux ou pierres semi-pr\u00e9cieuses, en faisant un don ou en se joignant b\u00e9n\u00e9volement aux ateliers de confection des rouleaux de mantras !
